From the 1960's to today, Reggae has made an impact on the world. It's a reawakened African art form, another danceable Caribbean rhythm.There are 4 groups, or eras, of Reggae; Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, and Dancehall. Ska dated from around 1960 to mid 1966, and it's probably one of the most recognized forms of reggae. Rocksteady lasted from '66 to '68. The reggae that everyone knows came to be popular from '69 to around '83 and had two stages. Early rages and roots reggae. From there on it's all been called dancehall.
